And now a word on Indian culture from the Washington Post, which has educated you all about Arab culture

"The case has struck a nerve in deeply traditional India, where a woman’s modesty is still considered sacrosanct."  So a strip-search of a US diplomat overseas would not in any way cause consternation here in the US because the US, unlike India, is deeply untraditional? Help me out here, please.
