Washington Post war on feminism

In the 1980s, when I first arrived to Washington, DC, there was a woman who would sent the most silly anti-feminist letters-to-the-editor.  They were regularly published.  She has no original arguments but the typical Phyllis Shafley's war on feminism.  Within a year or two, the Post would solicit opinion articles from her and would publish her and promote her as an expert on women.  She became and author and the post is still peddling her nonsense.
